Google unveiled its two new flagships, the Nexus 6 and the Nexus 9 as well as Android Lollipopop almost a year ago.Obviously we did not all throw ourselves on the latest flagships of the brand, but a large part of us would like to taste the biggest update of Android.

We therefore all wonder about the availability of this last version of the Made in Google operating system on our own smartphones.Good news, we have concocted a small summary file for you.Some will have to wait more than others to take advantage of the brand new Material Design interface.

Summary

Note that for each manufacturer you will have an “official list” which corresponds to the terminals which have been confirmed by the manufacturer (often embellished with an approximate date).On the other hand, you will also have an “unofficial list” which will highlight all the terminals which may have the update according to rumors or even leakes documents.

The term “imminent update” refers to the devices for which the update is already available in certain countries but not in France.

Launched in April, the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge have just been updated on Android 5.1.1 lollipop.An update in which we will find the guest mode as well as many new features on the camera side.The update is also being deployed on the Galaxy S5 since late June, however, some models released last year will not taste Android Lollipop.This is particularly the case with the Galaxy K Zoom launched last year.

Sony officially confirmed it, all the Z as well as the Xperia C3, T2 Ultra, M2 and M2 Aqua will be updated under version 5.1.1 of lollipop.This is also available on the models of the Z2 and Z3 series since the end of July.On the program, many improvements certainly minor but rather interesting such as the separate management of the volume of the various system sounds (multimedia, alarms, ringtones) or even the improvement of the manual mode of the camera which now offers a super fast focusand better precision.

Too bad, however, that the latter remains restrained at 8 megapixels and that the camera still does not offer the RAW format.

Currently on Android 5.0 and 5.1, LG G3 and G4 will not be updated in version 5.1.1 but will be directly updated under Android 6.0 Marchmlow as soon as the new version of the OS is available.

HTC had promised to deploy Android Lollipop on HTC One M8 and M7, 90 days after the arrival of the source code.Finally the Taiwanese will have taken a little delay but the update is finally available on its two high -end 2013 and 2014 high -ends.HTC One Mini and One Mini will not be updated under Lollipop.

If the LG G3 has been running under the latest version of Google's OS since December, the LG G2 will have to wait for the second quarter of 2015, as LG India recently confirmed.

OnePlus

After the months of expectations, the OnePlus One will finally receive its Cyanogen OS 12 update.1 based on version 5.1 of Android lollipop.An update that did not go without a hitch since a few days after its initial deployment, it was interrupted, the time to add a new feature of the name of “OK OnePlus”.At the same time, to this official update, OnePlus also launched its homemade bone, Oxygenos, still based on Lollipop.

For the update of Honor 6 and 6+, these will not be done in ota, you will have to go to the official Honor website.Each file weighs approximately 1.34 GB, therefore check your storage space and make sure you have at least double.

To install it, download the file, decompress it then move it (on an SD card in a file called "dload" or on phone directly) using the Android File Transfer software.Then you will only have to launch the update center so that the file is detected.

Although no date has yet been communicated, the Android 5 update.0 Lollipop of the Meizu MX4 is currently being tested and its deployment could start from March, as recently confirmed by the CEO of the Chinese company.
