Huawei has just presented the new smartphones in its Nova range, composed of Nova 9 and Nova 9 Pro.Two rather well -equipped environments, which operate under Harmony OS 2.As its name suggests, the pro version has a slightly more advanced technical sheet.

The latter has a 6.72 inch OLED screen compatible with HDR10, and offers a non -adaptive cooling rate of 120 Hz.The slab displays 1236 x 2676 pixels and presents a 19.5 format: 9.Under the hood of the smartphone, there is a Snapdragon 778 4G, coupled with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of storage. The firm having difficulty obtaining 5G modems, especially due to American sanctions, it chooses to offer devices limited to 4G.A choice which therefore risks weighing in the decision of certain customers. It is all the more unfortunate that the rest of the aspects related to connectivity is turned to the future. The Nova 9 Pro is compatible with WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, an NFC chip, and offers a fingerprint reader under the screen.

On the back, there is a quadruple photo sensor composed of a large angle of 50 Mpx whose lens opens at f/1.9, an ultra-angle of 8 Mpx (f/2.2), D'A depth sensor and a macro module of 2 Mpx each.At the front, we see the presence of a double sensor of 32 Mpx, a large angle and an ultra-wide-angle whose objectives open respectively to f/2.0 and f/2.4.

Autonomy is ensured by a 4000 mAh accumulator compatible with the fast load of 100 W.According to the Chinese firm, it would only take 20 minutes for a complete recharge. This is in particular what Xiaomi promises with the 11t pro and its hyper load technology.

A very lotie standard version

The basic version keeps a very similar technical sheet. We are entitled to a 6.57 -inch OLED slab in FHD+ definition (1080 x 2340 px), also refreshed at 120 Hz.The SOC is the same, just like the amount of RAM and storage. The on -board connection is just as rich.Same observation for the photo configuration. It is only distinguished by the presence of a single 32 Mpx (f/2.0) sensor at the front.

The Huawei Nova only offers the fast load at 66 W.On the other hand, it is equipped with a battery of 4300 mAh.The differences between these two models are therefore quite light.

Their prices start from 2,699 yuan, or around € 355 (excluding taxes) for Nova 9, and 3499 yuan, or around € 460 for the version.Their release is scheduled in China on September 29, and their availability in Europe remains to be confirmed.
