Earlier this week, a bug hit the Google app on Android smartphones. For many users, the app kept crashing and was therefore impossible to use. The temporary solution was to uninstall the updates and/or clear the cache. Luckily, the Play Store has an official, longer-lasting fix.

An update to fix the Google bug

" We have released a new version of the Google application (which version number starts with 12.24) ", reads the note from service published by the teams of the American giant. The update should happen automatically from the Play Store, but you can install it manually if you want, or if you disabled the Google app when it was down.
