Not long ago, we were talking about leaks in the design of the future Google Pixel 6. With a stripe in relief on its back, it seemed well on its way to becoming the most original smartphone of the year. That was ignoring that for several months, rumors all over the Huawei P50 indicated the presence of a particularly impressive photo block. Finally, the doubt is no longer allowed, now that Huawei has formalized his new flagship, which will welcome on the back two huge photo modules, arranged in two circles that will really make the users the new Lords of the rings...

Enter the circles of the Huawei P50

As early as January 2021, rumors were running about this original photo block, and these were confirmed by photos that appeared to have been taken in the factory where the P50s are made, showing transparent hulls decorated with two holes on the back. In recent years, camera sensors on the back of cameras have increased, and it is not uncommon to find 4 or 5 behind some cameras. Or even second screens, as on the Galaxy Z fold models of Samsung, or the Xiaomi Mi 11 ultra. But each time it was noticed that the manufacturers had tried to find the most ergonomic solutions possible to integrate all this technology. With the P50, Huawei decided to put his foot in the dish. Or rather to arrange these sensors like eggs in the flat...

As expected, we find two circular photo modules, one on top of the other, and taking up a lot of space on the back of the P50's. In the top one, there are 3 sensors, while the bottom one seems to be intended for the main sensor, but could accommodate a second one in the P50 Pro and / or Pro + versions. By the way, the Leica logo usually marks Huawei's partner, below the second sensor, and no longer next to it. The look of the Huawei P50 series is as amazing as expected:

Unexpectedly, this confirmation was a real surprise during Huawei's lecture. Either way, the P50 hasn't finished talking... And astonishing.
