Very active on foldable screen smartphones with its Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip, the Samsung brand presents what will perhaps be the future of this market.

For the time being at the stage of simple prototypes, foldable screens created by Samsung were presented during these 2022: the Galaxy Flex G, Flex S and Flex Note, mainly.

Smartphones with two hinges?

This is slowly reminiscent of the patent recently filed by Microsoft, in which the American company presents a three -screw smartphone potential and therefore to three hinges that we will call the trio surface for the time.

We can therefore see Samsung smartphones with three screens, named the Galaxy Flex G.This is not the first time that we hear about this at the Korean brand, since a patent had already been filed in April 2021, but it is obviously very interesting to see these products in photo.Two models are therefore presented, including one much larger than the other.The first has three unequal size screens, creating a sort of mixture between Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip.The second is nothing more or less than a Z fold with a third screen, in tablet format.

In addition to these smartphones, the company presented an equivalent named Flex S.The main difference is that part of the screen remains continuously discovered, allowing you to use the smartphone or the very closed tablet.The Flex G cannot be used when closed, but the sustainability of the screens is therefore increased.

Computer and stretch screen

Apart from the screens that could now be considered "classic" when installed on smartphones, Samsung has also unveiled its Flex Note prototype.This is an OLED screen of 17.3 inches, which gives way to a computer format 13 "when closed.

It is quite difficult for the time to imagine using a foldable screen as a laptop, so much writing on a virtual keyboard is not necessarily appreciated.But the fact is that Samsung wants to prove that screen size is not a problem to do something foldable.

The last element presented by Samsung is the Slidable Flex, which you can discover on video above.The principle is already known since the Oppo X 2021 already benefits more or less equivalent.The idea is very simple: by pressing a button, the right side of the smartphone lies with a few centimeters.

The Korean company therefore has much more than a foldable screen in its bag and it is unlike that we are looking forward to how it will integrate its technologies in products intended for the general public.
